Podcast S3 E14 2023 - Oscars results and final awards season betting review
Hundreds of bets, hundreds of possibilities, thousands laid.
Winning the I Drink Your Milkshake Award, is bestowed upon the entertainment awards bettor who produces the highest profit on turnover (POT) for the entire season: beginning with the Emmys in September 2022, and concluding at the Oscars in March 2023.
In season three and since beginning Lights Camera What’s the Action? in the year 2020, Max Renn and The Professor have won the I Drink Your Milkshake Award. This year, it was Tony Coca-Cola who emerged victorious as chief betting wizard across the 2022/23 entertainment awards season.
Tony Coca-Cola started the awards season with a booming bet, correctly predicting All The Beauty And The Bloodshed to win the Golden Lion at the 2022 Venice Film Festival. Catching the winner at $21 got the gravy flowing.
At the Oscars, all three of us busted out on Steven Spielberg and The Fabelmans, who were the strong frontrunners in the back half of last year.
It was only Tony Coca-Cola who prepared for an eventual Spielberg loss, by taking early cover on the Daniels and caught the momentum at a big enough price on Best Picture winner Everything Everywhere All at Once.
But big collects and podcast best bets in 2022 included:
Michelle Yeoh at $8.00 in November
Brendan Fraser at $4.50 in August
Daniels at $10.00 in December
